  • Comments Thread For: Jack Doesn't Make Much of Beating Groves, DeGale's Loss to Him

George Groves is the only fighter to defeat James DeGale since DeGale won a gold medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Badou Jack is one of only two opponents to beat Groves during Groves' professional career. Neither DeGale nor Jack appears to have placed too much emphasis on those opposite results in closely contested meetings as they head toward their 12-round super middleweight championship unification fight Saturday night at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Yes, the record books say that Degale lost to Groves but it was a fight he probably won. Have to go for a Degale UD against Jack.

I feel like Jack's temperament is his greatest asset as a fighter

Jack works harder in the second half of fights and has an exceptionally high power punch connect ratio, I see this being a tactical affair and potentially a split win or possibly a draw.

I scored Degale v Groves a draw. Think Degale has got better since then and maybe has been humbled by the loss. Really cant see by him 2nite, we know wat Jacks going 2 do. Its Degales fight 2 lose

I'm glad neither of these guys are putting much emphasis on that fight. Too long ago for DeGale to be relevant. Too close between either of them to be telling. I'm up for this one. Both of these guys have won me over with their mentality towards this fight. It will be a good one.
