Canelo has the most delusional fan base of any boxer ever. The guy is impossible to defend. He ducks ggg, he gets suspect decision wins and chooses to fight guys like khan and beefy. Bottom line is he won't give Lara a rematch because Lara isn't a face first idiot like Angulo or Kirkland. He won't face ggg because he knows he'd get ko'd. No one disputes the fight was close mainly because there was really no fight in the first place because Lara fought like a p@ssy after tough talking his way into the fight in the first place. He got his shot on the big stage and blew it. Ran all night because he didn't want to get knocked out while Canelo chased him trying to make a fight of it. Low output of punches from both but most felt Canelo deserved to win because he landed the harder shots, pressed the action some thought it could of just been a draw and few thought Lara won. But what ISN'T debatable is the fight was horrible to watch and that is 100% on Lara and nobody wants to see it again.

Matter fact look at Lara's attendance and TV ratings since. It's hard to fight a big name on PPV and not improve your fanbase. win or lose the big exposure almost always gives the fighter a boost but Lara pulled off that feat where it went opposite. He actually lost some of the few fans he had and hurt his brand. He's done nothing to rub the stink off from that performance or earn another big fight he's fighting Yuri Foreman for F sake in a fight nobody cares about and nobody is gonna watch.
