Comments Thread For: Team Pacquiao Stand Firm on $20 Million For Crawford Fight

According to Manny Pacquiao's personal adviser Michael Koncz, the Filipino superstar will fight anywhere is the right financial package is put together. Pacquiao's promoter, Bob Arum of Top Rank, is looking to stage his boxer's next fight outside of the United States. One option that Arum is exploring is a fight with undefeated contender Jeff Horn (16-0, 11 KOs), which would take place in Australia. A venue has been set aside in the country for April 22.

Pac should fight Kell Brook if he wants to maximize revenue.

He's not a huge draw in the US anymore, but Brook brings that UK money, and I think a fight with Pac would still be a massive draw over there.

Unless a rematch with Floyd materializes, or he fights someone who's CURRENTLY popular like Alvarez, I just can't see Manny making $20m.

The days of the monumental purse are gradually dying out.

But that's a fight Pac could lose. Bob isn't gonna let him lose to someone outside the top rank stable.
