Comments Thread For: Hearn Expects Joshua To Beat Down Klitschko, Eyes Wilder in Vegas

Matchroom Sport promoter Barry Hearn is expecting IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (18-0, 18 KOs) to do a real job on Wladimir Klitschko, when the two boxers collide on April 29th at Wembley. The vacant WBA, IBO titles are also at stake.

Joshua should beat Klitschko but it's unlikely he would fight Wilder right away. He can eliminate some lesser fighters first.

Carefull what you wish for Mr hearn. If klitschko beats joshua hes not gonna fight anybody.
Not that a loss would hurt joshua that bad but then again get beaten by an old klitschko who everyone calls shot right now...

Klitschko reign has come to a end. If Joshua don't beat him, Wilder will.

You think that Barry and Eddie don't talk on the phone several times a week. You think they didn't discuss prior the Wlad/A.J fight before signing it? Who is delusional?

Right. Keep it in house with Ortiz.

Agreed. He has has a brilliant career but Wlad himself said that AJ was the future of boxing. It's certain that Wlad is not the future.

Inactivity kills a boxer. Especially an old one. Who looked lost in his last outing.

The only hope for Klitscho is that AJ has a brittle chin - which seems unlikely. He may not have the sturdiest chin but it doesn't look to be out of the same mould as Khan's.
