  • Comments Thread For: Joshua: Beating Klitschko Can Change Me To Legend Overnight

Anthony Joshua has dismissed the suggestion that Wladimir Klitschko's little bro' comments were intended to patronise him. The IBF heavyweight champion (18-0) shared pleasantries with upcoming opponent Klitschko during their press conference last month at Wembley, the scene of their collision on April 29.

Joshua will brutally KO the boring robot. The era of runners and huggers is over. 2017 is the dawn of a new era- the era of exciting, vintage, blood and guts warriors who go for the KO!!!!!!

Now this is what real fighters do. Fight the best men on offer. Compare and contrast to the trash that is both wilder and his opponents. SMH

beating 41 year old Wlad is legend?? I guess Trevor Berbick, Kevin McBride, Larry Donald, David Avanesyan, Enzo Maccarineli, Hector Camacho, Uriah Grant, Grover Wiley, Joe Smith Jr, and Carlos Bojorquez are all legends

Nope. Beating Wlad doesn't making him a legend at all. It didn't even make Fury a legend. I don't know why people overlook the fact that Wlad lost his last fight... However, if AJ can become undisputed and run things for a minute, then we can talk HOF, then ATG, then legend. LOL. Legend is thrown around wayyyy too easily for my taste...

Actually ending his 10 year reign as heavyweight champion would have made you a legend...a feat accomplished by the real champ Tyson Fury.Besides Wlad is going to ko AJ brutally.

If he beats Wlad impressively then it's a big deal. Fury squeaking a decision in the least violent heavyweight bout in history doesn't come close to a clean knockout. It wouldn't make Joshua 'a legend' within the sport but it would most likely make him the face of boxing.
