Comments Thread For: Malignaggi: Canelo vs. Chavez Jr. is a "Waste of Time Fight"

Former two division world champion Paulie Malignaggi views Saul "Canelo" Alvarez vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. as a "waste of time."
The all-Mexican mega-fight is being negotiated for May 6th, as part of Cinco De Mayo weekend. A catch-weight of 165-pounds is on the table, with Chavez coming down by three pounds and Canelo going up by eleven pounds.

^^^ And this is precisely why Paulie is one of my favourites. Dude has done his best to get the most he possibly can out of boxing, especially considering that he doesn't really have a body geared towards being a boxer.

Dudes **** on him every chance they get, but I tip my hat to him every chance I get.

Paul sees very envious of successful boxers. Facts Chaves and Canelo will both make more in this fight each than Paul made his whole career fighting

He's part right but to call them ignorant is not the right term could've said casuals but if you follow his twitter you can get an idea of what kind of person he is because of what he says and who he backs up.. that's his opinion and its not right and it's not wrong but in my opinion that's a great fight Jr looks hungry again we've seen what he can do like against lee and against Martinez its curious to see Jr's size advantage vs Canelos skills so it'll even out cuz jr is not as skilled if he fights with the same amount of heart he fought in the last rounds against Martinez it's a good fight worth watching so paulie can stay home and eat some ravioli

And you are one of the ignorant he is talking about, too far into your own fan boy BS to see anything in boxing with clarity, he is talking about promoters cashing in on fan intellect or lack off as the reason the fight is being pursued and you come back attacking his boxing.

You shouldnt be so narrow minded you will see so much more, you have not the foggiest idea how much you handicap your own learning.
