The year of 2017 will, I suspect, probably be the most prosperous time for the sport of boxing for many a long time. With talented youngsters taking up the game in record numbers and television coverage increasing to previously unchartered levels, it can only be good for the fight business and, more importantly, those who support the sport.

There used to be a great midweek fight show on during to 80's which showed some great fights featuring the likes of Jeff Fenich & the Galaxy boy's, so it would be nice to see something like that back. Channel 4's KOTV's alright, but we need more global coverage.
