Comments Thread For: Bob Arum Discusses The 2017 Return of Manny Pacquiao

2016 was a successful one for eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao (59-6-2, 38KOs) , who banked a dominant decision win over Tim Bradley in their trilogy bout in April and then came back in November to unseat once-beaten Jessie Vargas for the WBO welterweight title.

I wonder what b-level fighter they pick for him next. Not gonna be Crawford, he would own Manny so that is out of the question.

Yeah cuz Vargas was such a big step up. The guy lost to Bradley who had lost to Paquiao. Thats not protecting? We all know Crawford should have been given the fight but they can still make a lil money off Pacquiao so thats what they did. Fact, so you can gtfo here!

It's funny. Arum says that it's up to Manny and Manny says that it's up to the promoter. I don't trust either of these guys, but I put primary responsibility on Pacman at this point. He is one of the biggest names in boxing right now and if he wanted a particular fight, he can call for it. Bud, Broner (I guess), Garcia-Thurman winner, and Brook (I guess) are the only fights that I will put money on. Otherwise, they can have it. I'm not interested in seeing him fight Jeff Horn, who I think they will probably end up going with. Just pathetic how boxing keeps doing its fans..

manny is a professional lying politician and has been for many years..... They usually always hide behind responsibility for their own actions...... Manny is also an expert excuse maker... Both traits of scumbag politicians which manny exudes

Dude its 2016 how the hell can you protect a fighter who is damaged goods? Vargas was the only one willing to step up, Garcia, Broner, and Thurman didnt, Broner and Garcia both priced themselves out knowing dam well Pac is washed up and cant draw anymore, Tyson couldnt draw anymore as well after the Lewis fight, you sound like an idiot sorry man.
