Comments Thread For: Viktor Postol Plans To Remain at 140, Aims To Get The Big Fights

Despite the fact he only had one fight in 2016 which happened to be a clean unanimous decision loss, Viktor Postol (28-1, 12 KOs) is still one of the top dogs in the super lightweight division.

I agree with what this guy has said in regards to the best fighting the best and Postol has been matched up against top competition. Hopefully, it can continue. However, activity is also very important. Crawford got a lot of flak for not fighting Felix Diaz instead of Molina. Where was Postol? Diaz vs. Postol would have been a really interesting fight. Fighting Burns isn't a challenging fight. That's a money fight. Indongo is a title fight to further earning potential.

Postol shouldn't move up any more than Crawford should. I believe Crawford outweighed him on fight night. The bigger and better challenges is at 140, but I don't think Postol is THAT good to really hang anyway. He'd may be able to be top 10 at the division, but he wouldn't really be a top guy there. 140 is where he should stay...

Crawford and Broner are the top guys at 140 and Crawford easily beat Postol in a snoozefest and Broner would easily beat Postol as well, Postol I thought he was good but if he got dropped by Crawford when Crawford wasn't even trying he's really not much

He should be able to beat Indogo and Burns for the IBF/WBA straps, not sure bout his chances against Broner!

Broner doesn't move a lot which is what Postol likes and Broner's jab isn't good, he's just quicker and faster plus harder puncher!

Hope to see him back, if he'd knew how to cut the ring off the Crawford fight would've been a lil more interesting even though he'd still lose!

There's no shame in getting dropped and beat by Crawford.

Crawford is just that damn good.

Crawford was trying his best. Crawford brought his A-game and was 100% focused. It takes a great fighter to make it look easy.

Hope he hurries up. I still like the guy a lot and think he does extremely well against guys not named Crawford. Shame the way people have abandoned him over that loss.

Postol's manager makes great points and to add on top of that, people want to see toe2toe, non-stop action. That's why the UFC has been so successful.

Viktor Postol vs Julius Indongo, do it!
