I'd take a wild guess that anyone who fights GGG will be in the best shape of their careers. Yes, BJS had a bad outing, looked rough. I doubt that happens again. Still say Jacobs, Eubank or Canelo... and likely BJS give GGG as much as he can handle, win or lose. Much more of a challenge than his usual Wade, Rubio, Geale fare.

Lara beat Trout more convincingly than Charlo so I'll admit that. J Rock was an undefeated fighter with the goods that had never been broken. Charlo had everything to lose and nothing to gain by taking that fight because he was moving up in weight anyways. The best fighting the best is what its all about. I'm not bashing Golovkin for taking the Jacobs fight. Thats a legit opponent. I'm saying he will be the beta and Jacobs will be the alpha in the early rounds because when they are at full potential Jacobs is more dangerous. Golovkin will wait until the later rounds being a beta with the jab early, avoiding the stronger and more powerful puncher. He will wait until the later rounds to take risks. He has no chance of scoring an early stoppage. Jacobs is the only fighter that can end this inside of 3 rounds.
I don't know, I actually see Golovkin catching him early. If Jacobs gets a win I could see it maybe in a Junior Jones Barrera type fight. But either way it's a good fight. Yeah, I like Charlo but I'm not sure about him yet as JRock has talent but a real fragility that I don't think anyone expected. But I'd still like to see the fight.

Well, is it GGG˙s fault , that Jacobs is the best opposition in 160 division?

Billy Joe Saunders and Daniel Jacobs are best middleweights after GGG.

I just feel Eubank is a low level guy thats getting hyped by fighting total cans in England. I'd rather see GGG in there with a Lara or Charlo instead of a guy that poses 0% chance to win. Canelo & Jacobs are solid opponents though. Jacobs could soften GGG up but I think Eubank would be over as quickly as the Wade fight was.

JRock could still end up being a great fighter at 154. Charlo has dynamite in his fists. Can't wait to see what he does at 160. I will be shocked if Golovkin gets Jacobs out of there early. I expect him to take him into the late rounds and have success there. Jacobs has really fast hands and a lot of pop early. These are the two top guys at middleweight right at this moment and yet I don't see any way it goes 12. Somebody is getting stopped one way or another IMO.

That could very well be true about Eubanks, but we'll never really know until he starts stretching out there with some less-than-safe fights. Your idea of Lara or Charlo would be great for GGG though. Those two, especially Lara, are the kind of slick boxers that would be a mountain for GGG to climb.
