no, you don't get wins, but it counts for something. Are you going to tell me that Sturm, then Maravilla, then Cotto, now canelo, all ducked him bc he's hype and not a great fighter?
Have you ever heard of something called the eye test? If you've ever been to a gym or worked around boxing trainers, you'll know what I'm talking about. Ask boxing people in the know - fighters, trainers, etc - GGG has it! he's a great fighter.
If you don't see that solely because he doesn't have a HOF scalp on his resume, then your not watching close enough.
Ex - Mike Tyson had no great wins (Holmes was way past it at that point) - he just demolished everyone in his path. He passed the eye test. and from '86-'89 was widely regarded as the pound for pound best in boxing

what worries me about Jacobs is that Mora dropped him, Eubank is physically stronger than Golovkin and might actually overwhelm Golovkin, but Canelo is the best counter puncher in the sport and loves come foward fighters and that's why I think Canelo easily wins

who says anyone is REQUIRED to move up? It's such a recent phenomenon that great fighters MUST fight in multiple weight classes. Hagler was pound 4 pound #1 for years by staying at 160 and defending his title. If a fighter is comfortable fighting at a weight, his staying at that weight should not be viewed as a negative

AND he was a CAREER SWW!! Who was 0-2 at MW.

GGG LOVES them WW's and Super WW's doe!!! Why NOT look up in weight Instead of down. GGG reminds me of high school bullies showing up at Middle Schools for fights.

Again WTF did ISHTA do to get the GGG fight???
When you fight 3-4 times each year, who gives a fek if one of the fights is a gimme? 2016 was the first year in about 5-6 that GGG only fought 2x, and that's bc Haymon and co. dragged out the negotiations so long that Jacobs fight couldn't be made for Dec.
GGG fights the best opponents at 160 that will get in the ring with him and he KOs every single one of them. Thats it. Anyone that thinks otherwise is a hater/keyboard warrior that really doesn't know boxing. The guy is a stud, top 5 pound for pound fighter in the world, and probably one of the top middleweights, after Bhop and Hagler, that I have seen in my lifetime.

160 is history, 154 has been created in 1984 and doesn't mean sht.

They can go back to 154 after all; no need to bulk up since GGG, Jacobs and Saunders are straight bums.

            you mean..... cherry-pick ?

just like he has been doing at 160 ?

Jacobs is a good fight, props to Golovkin, but you GGG fans are still lame

GGG is the super MW champ and most probably for all times! GGG should start lining them up for fights every month.

                " eye-test " = P4P...... strictly, opinion-based

                " eye-test " =/= ATG..... strictly, resume' based

I'm NOT hateing on GGG one bit! I NEVER even said anything bad about his skills. I started out saying the division is DOG SHT!!!! And it IS! I mean just LOOK at it????

I LOVE the Jacobs fight! I give him MAD PROPS because I honestly didn't think it would get made.
