Funny how this fight got made the week after Charlo just KO'd a blue chip prospect in savage fashion and announced his move to 160. Still, Golovkin finally took a fight with Danny Jacobs. Charlo scared him into it, but its here now. Lara and Charlo are hunting for Golovkin. Jacobs is first of the Haymon guys up to the plate. No excuses. Golovkin has plenty of hungry fighters to face with the Haymon stable now available.

But Chavez at 160 was such a beast that even when he DIDN'T train at all, he was still the guy who ended Sergio Martinez reign at 160, and his career. Yes Martinez won and fought again, but it was that 12th round that ended Martinez.
