It doesn't work like that at all, ******:
1. A promoter has to be paid one way or another
2. Promoting a mega fight is not a burden, it's a windfall. If it's too much for Oscar, I'm sure Loeffler would be happy to take that over
How do you watch boxing for years and not understand a damn thing?

OSCAR is the one who has to make ALL the down payments and put the purses aside. Pretty much pay for everything.
K2 will do about EXACTLY what RocNation did for their fight. JACKSHT! Jay-Z didn't even make 1 appearance or do sht to help sell the fight and all they did was count their $$$$$
Come-on what $$ is K2 putting up when their NOT even PROMOTING the fight???
Seriouly??? Their RENTING GGG OUT not the other way.Leave a comment:

Too SPLIT DUMMY!!!! FKN RTARD Oscar isn't his TRAINER or on his CREW! He's his FKN PROMOTER!!! They get SEPARATE CHECKS EINSTEIN!!!!
So now there ARE TWO teams SPLITTING 60%. Either way your FKN look at it ONE of them is getting less than GGG...If they give GGG 40% Damn how ****** are you????
Oscar is NOT going to take LESS then GGG and NEITHER is Canelo. I thought you had a lil boxing sense did you get a concussion or something???Leave a comment:

What are you talking about, Oscar? Team Canelo gets 60%, team Ggg gets 40, its simple dummy. At least that's the starting point, maybe negotiate down to 35% or whatever.
Back to the question: why are team Canelo happy to concede upside to chumps with no credibility but not to GGG?

So why should GGG get 40% and the promoter AND A-Sider SPLIT 60%???
What Give GGG 40%, Oscar keep 40% and HOPE Canelo accepts 20%??? LMFAO!!!!
Or WAIT!!!!
How about GGG 40%, Oscar 35%, and Canelo 25%??? Again NO FKN WAY does EITHER Canelo OR GB take LESS then GGG!
Your ALL smoking CRACK!
This fight is D E A D. @ 40%

Check the last paragraph of this article by Dan Rafael a huge ggg fan of ESPN. Now it doesn't say that the ggg camp refused the 15 mil it just says golden boy is offering at least 15 mil and ggg and them want no less than 40% of everything...
So the PROMOTOR who has to FRONT all the $$$$$ up front is ASKED to split 60% with the A-Sider???
How does that work out???
40% GGG
30% GoldenBoy
30% Canelo
Or
40% GGG
40% GoldenBoy
20% Canelo
How ****** can Leofller FKN be??? They want MORE than at LEAST what one or if not BOTH Canelo and the PROMOTER will get???Leave a comment:

"Tom Loeffler of K2 Promotions have been talking about a deal, but that the biggest obstacle is Golden Boy's insistence on paying Golovkin's side a flat fee -- at least $15 million -- while Golovkin's side wants to have a stake, as much as 40 percent, in the event".

"I spoke to Eric Gomez about this yesterday and it is in the Canelo-Chavez story. GB is offering a flat fee. He says $15 million. GGG side wants a percentage of the event. It is a sticking point at the moment."
