Smart signing by Mayweather Promotions. Rodriguez is a hell of a talent and will be a title contender by the end of next year.

Interested to see who will be in his corner during fight time.

all any promoter needs, to be honest, is one of his prospects to break through.

You add that, in the case of Mayweather Promotions, that said fighter has a near direct line to MGM Resorts (Sam's Town and Palms Las Vegas for the build-up shows, before going to Mandalay/MGM Grand/T-Mobile Arena).

        all you need is one

Great move by Floyd in bringing Rodriguez a future world champ to the money team.

Floyd didn't sign him to baby sit. Floyd will test him soon. If there's any waiting, it won't be Floyds fault... I think.

Great pickup & based on some social media **** I've been seeing over the last several months I was expecting this pickup to be legit soon. Saul is sure to be one of the best Mayweather Promotion guys on the roster right out of the gate.

And the good part for Saul is Floyd don't f#ck around & will get him the big fights as soon as possible & maybe sooner. Mark my words Saul will be fighting Jorge Linares, Terry Flanagan or Robert Easter for a 135 strap (or maybe a 130lb title holder) within the next 9 or so months.

Rodriguez is an interesting prospect. Liked what I saw of him in some of his early fights, but I also have doubts about him.

Sometimes prospects like him, that have natural power, can fall in love with it early on, rely on it too much, and develop some bad habits from it.

Will be curious to see how he's brought along.

I really want to see Rodriguez vs. Verdejo but I guess that's not possible now
