John Molina Jr.'s second attempt at making weight Friday night wasn't much more successful than his first try Friday afternoon. The supposed junior welterweight contender weighed 143.4 pounds two hours after he weighed in at 144 pounds for his 140-pound title fight against Terence Crawford on Saturday night at CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Representatives for Crawford (29-0, 20 KOs), who's promoted by Top Rank Inc., and Molina (29-6, 23 KOs), who's advised by Al Haymon, came to a financial agreement more than two hours after the second weigh-in that'll allow the 12-round fight to proceed as planned.
