Comments Thread For: Chocolatito's Manager Outlines The Options For 2017

Roman 'Chocolatito' Gonzalez (46-0, 38KOs) ended 2016 by making history in becoming the first Nicaraguan fighter to ever capture titles in four weight classes by out-pointing the tough Carlos Caudras over twelve rounds at the Forum in Los Angeles on September 10th.

Three fights a year for an elite champion is tough but once again Chocolatito has to do more than the rest and lead by example unfortunately the critics dont give him his due respect....he should just fight twice a year...considering he can never do right by the haters.

IBF super flyweight champion Jerwin Ancajas would love to be chosen as one of the 2017 opponents of Roman Gonzalez. It will be an exciting and fight-of-the-year WBC-IBF unification title fight.

I agree, but I don't think Roman Gonzalez would like that idea too much.

Is it a coincidence that GGG also said he wanted 3 fights in 2017 with one of them being in March? That's a good lucrative pairing until Choco has a big enough name to headline his own card or whatever... Hopefully, he doesn't drag out facing Cuadras, Inoue, or Estrada. The Estrada rematch should have happened already.... Hopefully, Gonzalez can come back and not be too negatively affected by his loss. My best goes to them...

I say let him have a tune up in Feb or March then fight Cuadras again in the summer. It's only fair.

I want to see roman in a cuadras rematch and also to lay the smack down on estrada again and for his third fight to be against inoue.thats probably asking too much though.

I love the anti-White racists on here - GGG is at 160 and should move up but this little guy can't move up and fight Rigo? He's already been exposed in a ****ty division. Pacquiao started at 106 - he must be the greatest the way everyone praises moving up in weight so much when it comes to GGG

No moving up for Choco? Lol guys in lower weight division move up and fight better comp like nothing - you want Choco to fight the mediocre comp in the weak division while criticizing GGG for dominating his division...

I think Mr Gonzales will find his Nemesis in Inoue The Monster Naoya. If he manages to defeat Inoue I will revise my opinion of him.
