I want to have a little rant about the absurdity of the WBA 'super' being at stake when neither Chudinov - hard done by though he is - or Groves have any claim to 'super' status under the WBAs own rules. And they already have a 'regular' champion in Zeuge. In fact, sad though it is it's almost funny watching themselves tie themselves in knots over this BS. But I won't have a rant. Because I ain't read the details yet.

Sauerland Event has confirmed that the World Boxing Association has ordered George Groves to face Fedor Chudinov for the vacant WBA super middleweight title. The two sides have until January 5th to reach a deal before a purse bid is ordered.
