Comments Thread For: Joseph Parker Will Be Promoted By Top Rank in America, China

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum - win or lose - will be leaving New Zealand on Saturday with a new world champion in his stable. Duco Events and Top Rank have agreed to co-promote New Zealand heavyweight Joseph Parker following this weekend's title fight in Auckland. Parker will face Andy Ruiz, who is promoted by Top Rank, for the vacant WBO heavyweight championship.

Smart move. Parker is going to get a big debut in the United States when he comes States side.

Top Rank keeps getting solid talent. Arum has been on doing good deals lately.

Great to hear he will stay on U.S. TV

Probably would have been better to be on the showtime side but this will be huge for his career

Good signing for Bob Arum as long as he is willing to work with the rest as far as working with Haymon and Hearn because if he doesn't then I don't know who Parker will be fighting after Ruiz

Deontay Wilder has been pushed hard by Showtime, Anthony Joshua is being pushed by Showtime, and Showtime is getting the first crack at the Joshua-Klitschko fight (if the fight goes as I think it'll go, I doubt that Klitschko would even bother with the rematch).

Joseph Parker possibly gets one title, but he's hitched himself to the camp that has no upside to really offer him.
