I really hope he becomes champion. If you watch any interviews of him on youtube, he just comes across as so genuine. He is a throwback hard worker type of fighter. He stays busy also, which is always a plus.

He needs to be careful what he wishes for. Loma's mando was likely Berchelt, but with Berchelt now fighting Vargas, Farmer could qualify as Loma's next mando (he's WBO ranked 10).

He's sparred with Loma in the past, but I still see him as developing and not ready yet for a shot (and especially Loma).

Hopefully the WBO accepts Salido as Loma's next mando anyway and we get to see that instead.

Farmers got some good skills though, one to watch. He's got 4 losses, but all at a time he wasn't really 100% committed to the sport. He started taking it seriously after his loss to Pedraza and hasn't been beaten since.

Saw a clip of him on someone's Instagram and didnt know who he was but his defensive skills looked like that of Floyd 10 years ago. However his boxrec shows he already has 4 loses, 2 by ko, has 1 draw and has won 23 times, but only 5 wins came via Ko. This is not a good record by boxing standards.

Makes me think of Floyd too whn I see him, not that he's the same level, just looks like a lot of the same moves.

Can ignore those 4 losses, they came at a time he wasn't taking boxing too seriously, didn't have a good team or camp. Different now.
