There's no doubt in my mind that GGG & Abel are in charge of the calendar now! The door is closing on time and although there's not much damage suffered in his history the international amateur career goes back to 2000 and there's a lot of rounds piled up.
It's a shame there's so many boxing fans who don't appreciate this guy. There maybe some truth that their promotions aren't offering top tier money but a contender makes sacrifices to fight the champ and the top guys want no part of him. (Sergio, Cotto & Alvarez) They ran and that is the truth.

He is not a great boxer or a true pressure inside guy but the guy comes to fight! To beat this guy you need to out box him or back him up and the best Middleweights don't think they can, so far!

I like him, he is no Sugar Ray Robinson but who is?

How can you fight 4 times unless you're fighting bums? If you fight even 2 tough fighters that will give you 12 rounds each like Lara and Canelo, you won't have the energy to fight 2 more times. Jacobs will get ended within 6 rounds with that chin. Saunders has always been shook of GGG and doesn't even have power like that to keep any top guy away from him in the ring so he HAS to box and he's not a better boxer than GGG

Donaire fought 4 times, I think in 2012, and not one of them were actually good top fighters despite one of them being a Ring champ Nishioka who was so old and done that he retired after that fight, Vazquez Jr, Arce, and Mathebula I would say Mathebula was the only decent guy there. That's what we get when a fighter fights 4 times. If Canelo fights 4 times in 2017, I predict one guy will be "decent" and the rest will be silly mandos

Does the wish list for most people go Jacobs, Saunders, Canelo (if winning all those, end with a december 2017 UK fight with Eubank Jr maybe)?

For me, replace Saunders with Lara. I'm always down for a contrast of styles.

well lets hope this is the case cause you ****ed about in 2016 waiting for fights to get made which werent going to happen and youve basically wasted a year of ggg's career. time to move up to 168, pretty much got no other option now.
