BJS, Jacobs and Canelo are good enough, add N'Dam and maybe Lee into the mix and there's the potential for a pretty good year.

However I'll be surprised if more than 1 of those match ups happens or indeed if Golovkin fights more than 3 times. Most likely it's 1 of the above and a coupla so/so top 10 - 20 guys. Sucks, but without casting blame that just seems to be the way it's worked out the last coupla years.

Lost in the Olympics N'dam & hasn't fought since he lost his belt to Saunders in 2015 are good fights? Good fights for a contender. Horrible fights for a 35 y/o champ with a horrible resume.

If you were following Canelo at all, you'd know that Rosado-Monroe was promoted as an eliminator to get Canelo, and the second Monroe won, easily, Canelo's promoter said they would never face him. Canelo can't move fast enough to walk anyone down, Willie would make him look terrible, just like Mayweather and Lara did.

Gennady Light has a good, clean brewski smell that's undercut somewhat by a sugary corn taste and a hint of rusty lemon. But he's a decent, straightforward beer that manages to fly under the radar and into the shopping cart due to its low price and manageable ambitions. Gennady Light's not trying to impress you; he's just trying to skate by, and there's an ugly honor in that.

They should have been honest before the fight then when it was being promoted as an eliminator.

I believe Canelo has slow feet and problems with people like Lara and Monroe yes.
