  • Comments Thread For: Ryabinsky: I Would Be Ashamed if I Was Andre Ward!

Promoter Andrei Ryabisnky of World of Boxing has been a huge critic of Andre Ward vs. Sergey Kovalev outcome from two weeks ago at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Ward, who was knocked down in the second round, won a close twelve round unanimous decision over Kovalev to capture the IBF, WBA, WBO light heavyweight world titles. The three judges scored it 114-113.

Well, good thing he isn't biased or anything. LOL... Considering that he has Povetkin doping, I think there are more egregious things that are su****ious with the sport than judges in the US. Hell, just because a fight is in America doesn't mean the judges have to be. If you want to continue promoting in Russia, fine. But don't try to use a controversial decision in a close fight for justification for it...

              "Thou shalt not steal"

Ward is no Christian. He smirks and chuckles about robbing Kovalev.

Ward is an unknown in America and disliked almost hated

Kovalev the commie is more popular in the USA than is Ward the off white fake Christian phony. despite all the SOG crap Ward spews out there is nothing there but phoniness and fake from the mulatto Ward. Ward has been protected and soft his whole meager career of basically nothingness. Okay the judges screwed Kovalev big deal as the commie made his millions and gets a rematch. If Kovie doesn't like it go fight in Russia or some other drab dreary dictator dump. As for Ward who cares?? No one in America.

Given that Kovalev did actually win (whatever the judges said), a Russian saying Kovalev won actually sounds less biased than an American saying Ward won (whether they are a judge or not).

Russian judges giving biased scores for Russian boxers will be no greater a sin than American judges giving biased scores for American fighters. Both are equally bad for the sport.

All these fights need judges who are from different countries than the combatants. It wouldn't stop the bias (eg got a feeling a Ukrainian judge would either be biased FOR the Russian or against him, depending on where in the Ukraine they are from). Solution: Canadians ! We all know they are the nicest people on the planet (no I'm not Canadian nor married to one (and so forced to say that)).
