fight shoulda happened at 168 when ward was around that weight. i dont see golovkin ever going to 175. .i mean i just don't understand him willing to face froch, chavez, degale at 168 but not ward when beating ward would do more for his legacy and rep than beating all three of those guys. .at this point this topic is a dead horse. .ward has found his dance partner for a trilogy while golovkin keeps holding his breath waiting for canelo to bless him with a payday. .one guy is climbing the ladder to greatness, another guy is sitting on the steps waiting for his meal ticket.

I got the impression it was 50/50 at 168, and GGG's team said no to 168, counter-proposing 164, which is when it went south.

If so, then they just couldn't get to common ground, end of story.

GGG's team are looking like the smart ones now. Whatever the terms, Ward with American judges on American soil wins - doesn't matter what happens in the ring (unless Golovkin KO's him under circumstances where they can't find a reason to DQ Golovkin).

The fight was 50/50 @ 168. K2 felt GGG deserved more than 50/50, and then they came with the 164 demand later. If fights made the same money in Kazakhstan, Ukraine, or Russia, as they do in the U.S. (i.e. Las Vegas, MSG, Barclay's), GGG, Loma, and Kovalev would have never moved to the U.S.! They came here for a reason! They can go back whenever they want!

Andre, let me help you keep track of your lies. Your email was in July 2015, not "early 2016". They wanted a fight for fall 2015, YOU said mid 2016 after a tune up in 2016. After that, they said maybe 2017, not "2018". And quite frankly, since you wanted to open your nappy ass head up about it in September, you SHOULD have disclosed your email.
