Comments Thread For: Ohara Davies Dominates Andrea Scarpa For WBC Silver Belt

Ohara Davies comfortably beats Andrea Scarpa on points to claim the WBC silver super lightweight title. All three judges scored the fight 120-108. Two Tanks' Davies (13-0-0, 11KOs) was in control for much of the contest with Scarpa (20-2-0, 10KOs) unable to deal with the Londoner's awkward style.

Decent enough performance. Davies Vs Josh Taylor is the obvious fight to make, dont see it happening any time soon though, Taylor clearly a level above him.

Think this guy looks really good. Everyone seems to be giving him **** after last night but tbh i thought he dominated the whole fight, landed plenty of good shots and barely got touched. I liked how he defended himself in the pocket and i loved his jab and variation with his attacks.

He said in an IFL interview it was tough camp aftet having had 5 fights this year. Would do him good to just have some time off and really take some relatively big fights in 2017.

Already a mini rivalry building between him and Josh Taylor. Reckon Taylor with his am back ground is foo good right now but definitely interested in the future. Throw Jack Catterall and Tyrone Nurse in the mix too and youve got a lively domestic 140lb scene
