Comments Thread For: Lomachenko: Pacquiao Fight Would All Depend on The Weight

WBO super featherweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko (6-1, 4KOs) is making huge waves in boxing. The two-time Olympic gold medal winner, who many regard as one of the best amateur fighters of all time, is already a two-division world champion after seven pro fights.

I don't like Arum trying to force Lomachenko up to 140 and I don't like Pac going below 140. Just fight Crawford at 140

Also agree - just too far apart on the scales for it to be healthy for them. Just let it rest.

Crawford and Pac meantime are close in weight, please Mr. Arum focus on that one and drop the Loma/Pac talk.

Loma has got to get past Walters first for crissakes..... Loma might be the strong favourite, but Walters will make him work every second of every round for it, and is good enough to potentially knock the wheels off the Loma bandwagon.

I'd like to see Loma (OR Walters) unify 130 before doing anything else.

Its not forcing! Its called opportunity! That's what a promoter is suppose to do. This is why Arum is the best at promoting & developing stars. Pac & Roach has been saying for years "Manny is a natural 140 lbs", "Manny can make 140 easy". Its not a bad match-up. How would you like it if Arum went the PBC route & put his best fighters against cab drivers all the time?

Wtf are you idiot's talking about lomachenko is probably naturally bigger than manny. Manny can get down to 135 and this fight is just as dangerous if not more than the crawford fight. Lomachenko is a boxing prodigy and is one of the best fighters in the world. The fight cud happn at a catch weight 137lbs

Sorry Lomachenko. Pacquiao will fight Jeff Horn instead.

How about an opponent outside the TR stable ? For years everyone's been b itching about Arum only doing in house fights with Manny. Don't get me wrong a Loma Manny fight woulda been fireworks maybe 7 years ago when Manny was an aggressive come forward high output fighter. That's not him anymore

Seems odd to me how he keeps getting interviewed about fights like this when there's a huge obstacle ahead of him. I feel like I'm one of few who sees Walters as any threat. I guess we'll fight out in a few hours.
