Doesn't matter who you think won, that was a great fight between 2 evenly matched fighters. It was exactly what was advertised. Not saying I don't get the complaints. I do. But both men proved their worth. Kovalev is every bit the fighter we were led to believe he was. And Ward weathered an amazing storm to show his skill and ability. I think these two fighters are at the pinnacle if the sport no matter who you rank higher, and I'm glad we will probably be seeing it again. This is the fight boxing fans ask for so we should support that. Even if you don't support the decision.

Loved every second of it. They both brought their best. I'm so impressed with Kovalev and Ward. The combined skill level was incredible.

It wasn't that good a fighter. even the TV commentators on sky who were sacking ward off all night had to admit it.

Kovalev was in dominant mood eaely and then ward just kept jumping in with left hooks late.

Not good to watch in anyway. Particularly when you're trying to build stars and a ppv audience.

I enjoyed every second of it. Two incredibly skilled fighters in a fight that lived up to the hype.

Ward was fighting like a highly skilled robert Guerrero.(which is not really a good thing)

He landed some good jabs but for the most part he was stepping in doing that mauling thing Guerrero likes to do smothering his work not really landing something significant other than the viscous body shots that made kovalev faulter in the second half. Which let ward slip in at a chance at picking up a W.

IMO it was a close fight but think kovalev won or it could have been a draw.

If anything, this brought both guys down.....these guys landed 100 punches and threw 400 in 12 rounds....Kovalev dominated the real boxing match through 6 and then fought like a man who was concerned about gassing out. Ward fought like a guy who wanted to steal rounds with a decent but ineffective combination here and there. I commend Kovalev for his effectiveness and Ward for incredible resilience, the fight was interesting, but if that is a fight between prime p4pers i feel sorry for not living in the times of Hearns and Leonard...

Good fight but in a year or two from now it won't be remembered as no great or memorable fight to be honest...I think some of us are overrating it because we've seen so many stinkers that were on PPV...
