  • Comments Thread For: Bermane Stiverne Fails Drug Test, Positive For Banned Substance

On November 11, 2016 VADA notified the WBC that Bermane Stiverne's anti-doping test taken from his November 4, 2016 sample (the "Test") pursuant to the WBC Clean Boxing Program ("CPB") yielded an adverse finding for the banned substance methylhexaneamine (also known as dimethyamylamine or "DMAA").

He wasn't scheduled to fight a contender nor is he really much of a name to be beaten either so not sure why this is really news, but knowing NSB trolls, people will make this into more than it is because people love PED discussions on here.

Are you living under a rock? He's scheduled to fight Alexander Povetkin in a final WBC eliminator, with the WBC interim belt at stake, on December 17th and he was getting 1.4 million for the fight.

Guess I am living under a rock, lol.

The only HW names on my radar are:

                    Fury
                    Wilder
                    Parker
                    Ortiz
                    AJ
                    Big Baby

I didn't remember he was fighting Stiverne and wouldn't even trust myself to remember to watch it, to be honest. Feels dirty admitting it even.
