I've hated on UFC in the past, but I can't any longer, they are kicking boxings ass

I know people are going to come straight in talking about how much Floyd made but you know what, I don't care who's making what.

My buddies have gotten all the big ufc cards this year and I've been over there drinking and watching the shows.

And the quality of the product they are putting out is starting to make boxing look bush league.

Conner mcgregor is a superstar, he delivers entertainment in the ring and on the mic and he's had 3 big fights this year, it seems like every couple of months he's having another fight. They also had that huge card with lesnar and other very good cards.

Meanwhile in boxing what do we have? Danny Garcia vs a bum again? Malik Scott running from a Cuban who lies about his age for 12 rounds.

We have ward vs kovalev next week which could be a great fight.

But otherwise what have we had this year? Mismatch welters vs middleweight, a destroyed heavyweight division, old worn out pac vs a gatekeeper

    It's horrible.

I have to give ufc props

Boxing is my first love. Ill always be a Boxing fan first but u just stated the obvious. UFC is hot right now. Boxing is not. Too much politics and guys fighting bums, demanding big money, big fights being duds for my liking. Fans that watch both will agree. The ones that just watch boxing are the last ppl who can comment on this because they don't watch their other sport.

I followed UFC starting around the time it got popular due to the reality show, and quit paying attention at some point before they added a women's division. Posts like this make me wonder if I should try to get back into it, but I dunno. All the fighters I liked before are retired or well past their prime, and I barely know who Colin McDougal and Roberta Rossi are.

The UFC is killing it right now. Twitter and Facbeook nearly bew up over UFC 205 and all the celebrities are eating conner Mcgregor up. Their PPV numbers will be ridiculous and a great MMA fight is just as entertaining as a great boxing match.

UFC will win unless boxing makes changes. 80% of boxing cards are **** straight up...!!

I think was makes UFC great is it's unpredictability.

Fights can end anytime in so many different fashions which is why there are so many upsets and changing of belts

I wonder how much of the UFC success is due to Mcgregor's persona? I dont know much about UFC, but I have been wondering would UFC still be as popular if you take McGregor out of it? Or other way to put it is that could boxing see its ratings and PPV go up if it had McGregor or a personality like McGregor?

Or its simply a fact that UFC is a better product and marketed better?

Before mcgregor you had rousey before rousey was lesnar or whoever

Point is when a top star goes down another one soon comes to replace them because in the ufc the best fight the best.

Unlike in boxing where Floyd retires and nobody will replace him for who knows how long because the best boxers don't fight each other!

If boxing was ran like the ufc, Canelo vs GGG would have been made as soon as Floyd retired and we'd have a top guy already
