Green Relishes Grudge Match With Mundine

Australia's ferocious super middleweight Danny Green won't have to wait long to get bitter rival Anthony Mundine in the ring as the two clash on Wednesday, May 17 at the Aussie Stadium in Sydney. At stake is the #1 position in the WBA ratings but for Green, it's not just business, it's personal. "In November of 2001, Mundine was interviewed on National TV and he called me a bum, basically disrespecting me," recalled Green. "He continued to say that, so enough was enough and I fired back saying, 'well mate if that's how you feel then let's do it, let's get it on'. And he avoided it for a long, long time. But now money talks so he figures the time is right." [details]

Months ago when Ricky Hatton fought Carlos Maussa I was given the option to order the fight on PPV for $20 on a Saturday afternoon, of course I jumped at the chance!

Mother****er! I would love to have the same option with this fight, ****! The crowd alone is worth the money-this kind of fight atmospshere is special and I am pretty damn sad I wont have the option to purchase it.
