Fighters in the 160 division have run for the hills, with golovkin having more difficulty actually getting people to fight him, than the fighting itself. Has there been another example in boxing where one champion has been such an intimidating force in his weight division, where they have knocked every challenger out and noone will fight them? Or has golovkins middleweight reign of terror surpassed them all?
You need to stop the nuthugging, for someone that calls him self a true boxing fan this is discusting...

lol @ you judging a win by what the opponent does afterwards.

You KNOW better and you think you won't get called out on it.

No one credible in the boxing world does this and here you are acting like you are making some valid point.

Geale was a big MW who had to work hard to make 160.

Don't you think the 157 catchweight and Geale having his chin shattered by GGG in his previous fight tarnishes Cotto's win over him?

he came in at 182 on fight night and looked good early on, Cotto beat him just as good and now Geale was knocked out by an unknown at 168

Geale coming in at 182 on fight night should tell you that he must have absolutely murdered himself making 157.

Boxing history has plenty of examples of fighers who murdered themselves cutting too much weight like that and were never the same afterwards. You can get away with it in your 20's, but not in your 30's, like Geale.

I think its just the state of the MW division. He dominates everyone in his path. You can say he hasn't had a meaningful fight but is that really the case? He beats down everyone they put in front of him. Its like saying Michael Jordan was really not that good at basketball. He just didn't have anyone around him that was close to his talent, he was just that good. I think the rest of the MW division knows just how dangerous Golovkin is and they avoid him like the plague. Think about how many MW "contenders" do all the posturing and mouthing off about fighting him and at the eleventh hour back out of the fight.
