Comments Thread For: Pacquiao Thinks Canelo Might Be a Step Too Far in Size

Trainer Freddie Roach is very confident that his star fighter, Manny Pacquiao (59-6-2, 38KOs), is capable of beating WBO junior middleweight champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (48-1-1, 34KOs).

Bradley and Vargas had Pacquaio levitating with some of the right hands they landed.

              Imagine Canelo? lol

Taking nothing away from Pacquiao though, Canelo is a middleweight.

Not even funny, Pacquiao has tons of speed but he ain't quicker than Amir Khan. He's old, not that devastating punching power he used to have and weight difference is a lot.

Canelo KO's him in less than 8.

Not quicker than Khan, but smarter than Khan.

Completely agree with you, but on the other hand Canelo has better timing than Vargas and Bradley.

This is completely absurd, Pacquiao can't even make 147, and Canelo is heading to MW.

but if this fight were ever to happen, it would go like this:

Pacquiao boxes and wins majority of the rounds, Canelo tags him with an overhand right the same way Algieri and Vargas landed on Pacquiao..........................Paquiao goes to sleep again ala Marquez, good bye.
