Don't think its likely but if the winner of Garcia/Thurman gets a Pac fight next year it would elevate both of them. Either would have a good shot at winning against this older version of Pacquiao, but I think Pac/Garcia would be more competitive. Imagine Thurman beating Garcia and Pac in one year and setting up a Spence fight for 2018? That would be good for boxing.

i really do think crawford is next.. bob is running out of guys for manny. unless he can get a haymon fighter to fight manny, i see crawford being the next guy for pac. the talk for this fight has been brewing, everyone is talking about it and manny is looking more and more on his way out. this is the perfect time for arum to make this fight. it will be at 144 mark my word.

yeah the height wont be a huge factor since it'll be by 3" or so only. i like this fight. i think pac can pull off the win. pac can make 140, but i dont see they making the fight at 140. history tells me it will be at a cw of 144.

Thurman vs Garcia are fighting in the 1st quarter of 2017 so I'm assuming they are just being mentioned for name value & aren't really on the table unless Manny is sitting for a 8 months to a year.

I don't know why Loma even gets mentioned being that he's like 3 divisions from Manny still or whatever. Seems like he's just trying to make Loma & his people happy by throwing his name out there regardless of how realistic his options of getting that fight actually are. Also it'd be a diss to Crawford to have Loma leap over Crawford on the Manny payday when he's for sure the guy who should be the #1 contender to fight Manny on TR's roster.

So that leaves Crawford as the real guy Arum is still trying to build up with a Manny W to bounce his career trajectory & likely end Manny's career or at least knock him down a few notches.
