It still seems like a dream to Oscar Valdez. The journey of winning a world title belt ended on July 23, when he stopped Matias Rueda in round two at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The adulation on that hot summer night would have given goosebumps to any person, especially when he jumped into the arm of trainer Manny Robles.

Oscar Valdez has looked like a buzz saw in his last two fights. I think he can beat any Featherweight or Super Featherweight right now. He has excellent foot work, he's good on the outside or fighting inside. He also possesses great speed and devastating power. I hope he gets a shot at Lommachenco soon.

This is one of my favorite up and coming fighters. I like the kid a lot and believe he will accomplish plenty. Have not really seen any holes in his game.

He needs to beat top fighters, Frampton, Santa Cruz, Russell, Marez, Cuellar, Loma, Donaire. He looked great against Gradovich.
