Comments Thread For: Parker-Ruiz Location Once Again in Doubt After Sponsor Pulls Out

There are still issues with respect to the location for Joseph Parker's WBO heavyweight title fight with Andy Ruiz. The fight appeared to be taking place in Auckland on December 10 after Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, who handles Ruiz, revealed the bout would be in the Kiwi fighter's hometown. For several weeks there was confusion on where the fight would take place, with Parker's promoter Duco Events having trouble securing government funding for the card.

This is going to be like one of those big underground parties where you gotta call that night to see where it's going to be held.

This isn't right, but that's another draw back of all these titles floating around. This thing goes from an entertaining club fight, an eliminator, to Heavy weight title and nobody can afford it, starting with the sanctioning fees. It's that throw away title getting in the way.

Well I guess if its not held in the States or England its a dud? Come on N-Z someone get behind Parker that has a gr8 chance to win this and defend the title too. wait and see the money offered to fight Parker after he win's, Joshua, Wilder, and Fury if he stop's crying and snorting that stuff !! Guess Klitschko might be fit or make up his mind before the walking stick is used? Charr made WBA interim champ? what the!! and Briggs fighting a elimination ?? and chavez jr fighting same date as Joshua
