Ovill was a true credit to the sport with the odds always stacked against him he came through when few believed.He should have been world champ as he was robbed in Argentina of that right and finally a few decent paydays.

Always great edge of the seat stuff that will be missed but best wishes for you and your health moving forward .As a trainer you should excel and have much to still offer the sport ......good luck champ.

That's no reason to retire...there are world champions these days with terrible heart problems. See Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury, Floyd Pedcheater, Andre Ward when he claims injury later this month, etc. Etc. Etc.

Atrial Fibrillation.Something that hits so many athletes as they get older and is hitting more and more people these days.Ovil was always in great shape and probably overdid it.
