We'd be talking about the Vargas/Brook winner fighting Spence next.

Pacquiao's upcoming fight would be against Crawford instead of Vargas.

The welterweight picture would be much clearer. Brook or Vargas would have 2 of the 4 belts and with the Thurman/Garcia fight coming up the Welterweight division would only have 2 champions and we'd be one fight away from a unified champion.

Word is that Brook knew he couldn't fight any top contenders in the weight drained state he was in.So I imagine he would've pulled out his next fights injured until he got a better offer or was stripped.

The Vargas fight may well have fell through anyway.

Truth is Golovkin and Canelo both collectively ****ed over the depth of the welterweight division. I know that Khan wasn't the guy that he was at 140,but he could have still provided some excellent fights. I doubt his chin could handle a sneeze now though. Brook's orbital bone will be a question mark for the remainder of his career and the ill fitted muscle that he packed on will be detrimental long term.

You just scratched at surface. Thing is, it goes a lot deeper than that.
For example, it starts with what if Conela hadn't ducked and given his title as a gift.
What if bjs grew some balls and took on the fight, and what if the Eubanks weren't half *****.
Brook was plan D and it made sense for him to aceept the fight, win win sithation for him. All fighters are playing these games nowdays... welcome to the age of waiting forever to see the match up you want and then it turns out to be pathetic.
How many foty's have been ppv in last 5-10 years?
