Comments Thread For: Jessie Vargas' Manager Sees "Shocker Coming" Against Pacquiao

Jessie Vargas' manager usually doesn't partake in hyping fights. Cameron Dunkin isn't known for bold predictions or for talking trash about his fighters' opponents. Dunkin almost always is a bundle of nerves when big fights approach.

Gonna be an AWESOME fight!!!! Ever since Vargas changed trainers and went offense he became way better of a fighter. Sure he can't beat Bradley who he had to chase all night but Pac and him??? Someone getting KO'd. And I think it's Pac.

The sad truth is Vargas is in a lose-lose situation. If he loses, he was a "hype job," if he wins, Manny was "washed up and past his prime." Either way, I think the winner gets beat up by Terence Crawford in 2017!

They just steadily trying to sell us this bs fight. Pacquiao should be able to deal with him very easily. Vargas's best win is against Sadam Ali who i always considered overrated anyways. Ali finally fought someone decent and got his cap blown off as a result. This'll be a good payday for Vargas at the least. He seems like a genuinely good kid and it's good to see him out here making some good money fighting a legend. As another poster said before me though, Other than the fat paycheck he's getting. This is a lose-lose situation for him. No matter how convincingly he beats Pacquiao, he'll receive no credit, and if pacquiao beats his ass? Well that's what were all expecting anyways.

Yup! But it's more because their style more then Anything??? I would LOVE for one of these days a puncher not do sht and make the defensive wizard get boo'd enough to come forward lol. But that would hurt both fighters stock and boxing in general

Wanna bet??? Also Ali was the favorite against Vargas. I'm not saying Vargas will win but I guaran FN tee it won't be an easy fight for either one.

The Pac that fought Bradley in the 3rd fight is past his prime but I would pick to beat most current fighters at welterweight now; include Vargas.

I remember Vargas being with Mayweather and Mayweather told khan to fight him. Why did he leave Mayweather camp?

One has to be really skilled and creative in order to beat Pacman and Vargas doesnt quite fit that mold.

Unless pac gets old overnight, vargas is getting beat.
