I'm sure this guy will take numerous beatings from inmates...my only hope is they are daily and severe as this low life scumbag deserves nothing less.

Vernon's name is etched in the record books and he leaves a legacy as a decent human being and a fabulous fighter I remember when he stood a prime Shane Mosley on his head , how could anyone ever forget.

I hate this he admits guilt and gets life instead of the chair for the gas chamber as California or even in Utah the firing squad so what happens the public feeds in the public isn't health care and he will probably end up going to college and who pays for it ? the public...

Or the public could pay millions more for his appeals process, the execution and the 20 some odd years he is on death row. The death penalty is archaic and there are people i'd love to see get it, but its better to just do life and let the guy rot.....

psssssh we as tax payers should be able to vote if they get the chair or not. After all its our money thats giving him free room and board and medical for the rest of his life. Prison get like 50 grand for each prison per year, so say he lives another 40 years that 2 Million in room and board alone not to mention the medical he will get along the way.

He was a fearless dude. Went after those guys and they were strapped up.

The only thing I ever had against him was how he ****ed up the welterweight division by losing to Mayorga the second time.

We had this round robin of crappy lineal guys then including Cory Spinks, Baldomir and Judah because of that.

Vernon was better than all those fools and should have gotten Mayweather..
