Can't compare Kell Brooks situation with Golovkins.I mean Brook was drained as a welterweight as it was and knew he would have to face Spence in a defence in a depleted state and he was very likely to lose that fight. He knew he could get more money fighting GGG in a fight that he would get credit just for taking and making it out of the first couple of rounds.I wouldn't mind seeing GGG against Degale if he can't get Saunders or Jacobs though.Wards got his own things going on for now.

Although I do think that GGG fighting at MW is a waste of everyone's time (I don't care about # of defenses, unifying meaningless belts, or any other motive that has been used for him staying at MW), the fact that a lot of other boxers keep coming out and saying that GGG should move up is telling. We want competitive fights. Seeing him whoop BJS's ass doesn't do it for me. He should move up and challenge himself. Once you are clearly the best of your division, why hang around at that division? Move up and continue to build on that legacy. This isn't a shot at GGG, but I want to see better fights than someone getting their ass kicked for 6 rounds. It's a waste of time.

Monroe should stfu and keep his nose out of GGG business, rule number one - do not take advise from an efin' loser!

Edward Chaykowski, thank you for this article. I will now edit the snippet and upload Roberto Duran stating Alvarez knocks out Golovkin...

Lol....here we go...the GGG fan boys are about to attack one of the men who had the balls to get in the ring with Trip. Not only that...he asked for a rematch.

Too many people involved in the sport (fighters, trainers, promoters) have said the same thing about Trip not moving up. I guess they are all haters like posters on NSB get accused of being.

I'm a fan of Monroe but Monroe just insulted himself!! I guess he didn't see himself as a "risk" to GGG!
