Comments Thread For: Felix Diaz: Crawford, Garcia, Broner Have All Ducked Me

Felix Diaz didn't waste any time following his career-best win over Sammy Vasquez Jr. a fight he accepted on short notice, no less - in calling out the sport's top fighters in and around his weight class.

A dual contender at super lightweight and welterweight, the 2008 Olympic Gold medalist from Dominican Republic angled for a showdown with Terence Crawford, Danny Garcia and Adrien Broner all of whom were angling for one more fight in 2016 and each in search of an opponent.

Not hard to believe given the state of boxing today. The frustrating part is these are young fighters in their primes. 41 yr old Bundu alone would put these people to shame.

I'm not mad at Broner vs. Granados because had Imam won, he was getting a title shot, so Granados beats Imam, and he deserves a big fight. I am mad at Crawford and Danny Garcia though, because they could've made a fight with Diaz!

What does Diaz have to offer? No one owes him a shot just because he's good. Its a lot of good fighters out there who never get a chance. Peterson didn't become a household name by beating Diaz, didn't get a belt or a large sum of money so what is in it for the other guy?
