Comments Thread For: Frank Warren Not Pleased With How Jamie Cox's Win Played Out

There were some particularly encouraging performances from our fighters on Saturday night after the BoxNation cameras made a short notice switch from Cardiff to the Whites Hotel at Bolton's Macron Stadium. It wasn't in the best interests of a number of our boys to wait until the rescheduled Cardiff date so we took the opportunity to slot them onto a VIP promotions bill broadcast live on the Channel of Champions.

it was a seriously disgraceful fight from cox.. yes the opponent was annoying, but the way cox was headbutting, you'll thing it was a hooligan fighting. If the ref seen the retaliation headbutt, Cox should have been thrown out for sure.
In absolute bell end that has only returned to the ring so late because of assault charges against an some bloke in a bar and then a few years later assault charges on his ex.. he turned over pro over 9 years ago, if he can't keep a cool head by now in the ring, when can he.

Heres the time specific link to the replay (and whole fight) with the particularly obvious headbutt

Ahhhh, some things never change. This whole thing sounds like deja-vu from 2010, when he "fought" Michael Frontin and couldn't get him out of there after Kevin Mitchell and Cleverly had finished their fights early. 6yrs later, and he's still an absolute plonker.

Can see him throwing his career away sadly. I personally think its quite obvious he has mental health issues that need addressing.

I really do fear its only time before he's back behind bars, blokes a nutter.

I don't think anybody was pleased with the way it tuned out. It was ugly as sin.

To be fair though, he was bitten just before the headbutt.

This I agree with. Something's amiss with him.

it was some kind of weird kiss, that opponent was a terrible match to bring out the worst in Cox, but watch the beginning of the fight, be starts head butting straight away with no need what so ever
