Comments Thread For: Joshua's Fight Will Land on Showtime - Price, Jennings or Molina

As Showtime rolled out their winter slate of fights, one date that wasn't mentioned was the December 10th title defense of IBF heavyweight belt-holder, Anthony Joshua (17-0, 17KOs), who is scheduled to fight in Manchester, England in what will be his second defense of that championship.

I've got a feeling Hearn is going to try to make Joshua v Price.

It makes more money in the UK than the other fights and Hearn has been wanting to make it, that's why he puts Pricey on his cards even though he isn't a Matchroom fighter. I think he might try to make it now before Price gets KO'd by someone else and it can't happen anymore.

The only reason i can see him taking one of the other opponents is because it's on Showtime too and it might be better to have an American opponent.

It's going to be Jennings. An easy KO against a credible opponent who can't do any damage.

Hearn has actually repeatedly shat on the Price fight. Even recently when the Price fight is probably the best financial option for him

I'm starting to think it's going to be Jennings. The fact that Jennings is not in the IBF top 15 but is being mentioned as a serious candidate makes me think Jennings is the one that Hearn wants and he is probably doing some work on the IBF behind the scenes to get Jennings into the top 15.

Price would probably be the best opponent financially for Hearn & there is a little history between the 2 fighters. Molina has improved the last few years & has a win over a faded Adamek. He also picked up an IBF regional belt with the win so he is ranked. Jennings isn't ranked & he is coming off back to back losses. One for all Wlad's belts & the other was for the vacant WBA interim belt so I doubt he gets the call. You never know but that's my opinion. It's either Price (IBF#12) or Molina (IBF #8). Klitschko isn't even ranked by the IBF which is strange.

Please be Price. Let's get him retired for all of his "the amateurs" poo talking.

That fact that he's even considering Price or Molina to fight his world titlist is another example of why I say Hearn is a shyster. Jennings is not deserving right now BUT, an argument can be made that he can at least hang at that level and is an acceptable last-minute/keep busy opponent.
