Comments Thread For: George Foreman: Joshua Could Be Become an All-Time Great

Hall of Famer George Foreman could see IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (17-0, 17KOs) becoming one of the greatest heavyweights of all-time. Foreman, a two-time world champion, faced some of the greatest heavyweights who ever laced up a pair of gloves and he sees Hall of Fame potential in the 2012 Olympic gold medal winner.

Groovy. But, I think I'll wait until I see him beat 1 good opponent, or maybe even a couple, before I start saying he might be ATG material.

      No, he can't.

He's stiff. Straight up and down. No special effects.

      Good power and physique, though.

You couldn't just put that in your own words instead of quoting Mayweather?

Having good power and physique is more than enough to become an all-time great if you use it right.

          (1) Who cares if he quoted Mayweather or not, the thing is that he got his point across. My god, are you the internet police ?! (2) I think Big George is a little premature with the ATG talk. After all AJ did go life and death against that world-beater Dylan Whyte...lol. Let the young man develop some more, only time will tell the rest.

I wouldn't say that he went life and death with Whyte. Other than getting rocked in the second round, AJ pretty much handled him. That said, Michael Grant also had an imposing physique and an undefeated record and look what happened to him. U just never know. Peace.

Results from the lie detector came back and Maury determined that was a lie.

People are reacting as if someone said he is ATG material instead of simply could be, while it is never how someone fights but who they fight, and beat, that puts them there. Basically anyone saying that he couldn't be is foolish at best and anyone saying he definitely will be is taking one giant leap of faith
