Comments Thread For: Arthur Abraham Out Of Martin Murray Rematch In Monte Carlo

Martin Murray has confirmed that his next fight is off.

The former four-time world title challenger, from St Helens, was set to face Arthur Abraham in a rematch next month.

Murray (33-4-1, 16 KOs) lost to the German for the WBO world title last November and was ready to avenge the defeat against the 36-year-old super-middleweight, who has since succumbed his crown to Gilberto Ramirez, on November 12, live on Sky Sports.

Abraham has been shot for a while now. The guys should have never left 160. He doesn't have the same movement he had when he was younger.

The guy was a lion though. He should retire..Murray is going to beat him up

2016 has been a bit of a fizzer, maybe Abraham wants to be matched against an easier fighter he wouldn't want many more wars.

What makes you think Murray beats up a guy who dominated him a couple of fights ago? Moronic.

The agreement was the loser of Groves vs Murray retires. Abraham would have spanked Murray even easier this time round, shot or not.
