Comments Thread For: Anthony Mundine, Danny Green Rematch Set For February 3

The much-hyped rematch between former world champions Anthony Mundine and Danny Green will be held in Adelaide next year. Mundine, 41, won a points decision over the West Australian when the pair fought ten years ago, in 2006.

How has this fight been sanctioned? A 41 year old with a dodgy hip moving up 4 divisions after a near 2 yr layoff. How could this possibly end well??

This is really bad. Mundine is fkn delusional.

I don't know if anyone is actually looking forward to this fight.

83kg is around the same weight Mundine was when he was playing Rugby. He dropped a ridiculous amount when he took up boxing full time.

On a different note...This reminds me floyd-pac. Two boxers past their prime cashing in on payday (fair enough). At least these two actually fought back in their prime, and we know regardless of this result that mundine (the loud mouth pr1ck) was the better boxer.

I would have to be paid to watch this fight...along with its undercard which I'm sure will be the usual appalling mismatches.

The only ones hyping this rematch are Mundine & Green with the rest of Australia (the only market for it) having virtually no interest to date.

Looking forward to seeing green KO this indigenous prick. Green always comes to fight and the catchweight is going to work in greens favour.
