I've caught guys who took boxing way more seriously than me in sparring and I'm someone who has never had a competitive fight and did it just to exercise. It means nothing and who cares.

Pro fighters are playing dumb with these sparring stories pretending it means anything.

I'd like to see Andy pick up the title over JP. I have no rational reason for my dislike of JP I think it's because he feasted on New Zealand biker gang members for his come up. He goes back in straight lines (sometimes) and carries his hands very low for a HW.

His last two fights have certainly been a improvement, that I must admit. I know Andy is hungry (food pun intended) for a title shot but can he bring the intensity and punching power we think he can produce?.

Fury is an exception to the rule when it comes to body weight. He's been breeded to fight, you can even trace his family and you'll see fighting stock in the family. Anytime I see a ball of fat for a professional it makes me question whether they can go 12 rounds.

        Happens alot in sparring....

What's the purpose of sparring if you're not going to take a good shot here and there....

How does Parker have a bad chin? Never been dropped in amateurs or pros. Betting on JP wont bring much return he will be a heavy favourite unlike fat ****

Looks like obese and he's just 27! That weight is not good for your health.

According to Barry, the later sparring sessions JP won every round and was never invited back.

Btw Parker has sparred The likes of Tyson fury so im not sure Ruiz has fought or sparred anyone better?
I don't think Parker has sparred Fury, but he has sparred Klitschko, who rated him, Joshua and Wilder as the future of the division.

Pretty sure you're right - Klitchko had some really encouraging words to say about Parker, around the time he fought that Brazillian (Nacimento?) bloke on one of Klitchko's cards.

Fury invited Parker to spar with him, but Parker declined, pointing out that it was too close to an upcoming fight. Can't remember which one it was.

Even a bum like Bergman hurt him in the first round (you can check it). Takam hurt him. Haumomo hurt him. Ruiz can drop him undoubtedly.

So even of Ruiz did have better of 2013 sparring, Parker was only 21 and less physically developed and certainly less skills (not that he doesnt still need lots of improvement)
I feel like the weight trainings made him stronger and faster even, he looked sharp and he has the strong samoan legs

Ruiz isnt bad but Parker is stronger with a decent chin, I expect a competitive fight with Parker walking onto a few from the quick Ruiz while whaling on a smaller man with large breasts and ultimately coming over top for decision or late stoppage.
Parker lacks that long reach so will be good tear up, Parker gonna need good conditioning to win down the stretch.
