Comments Thread For: Joshua-Klitschko: Hearn Details Why The Fight is Nearly Done Deal!

The fight is inching closer and closer by the day, and every indication is hinting to an official announcement next week for a huge heavyweight collision between IBF world champion Anthony Joshua (17-0, 17KOs) and former division king Wladimir Klitschko (64-4, 53KOs).

Looks like this fight is done. Hopefully the belts are onboard but either way, this is fantastic news. I only wish it was a night time fight live here in the U.S. but can't have it all, I guess.

It's not too early, it's bordering cherry picking. Brewster was ready 10 years ago.
Wads coming off loss so it's good tome for josh.

I wonder if all the adjustments wad made from fury loss will be relevant and help wlad in this fight

Of course they are not relevant. Wlad had to be thinking how to better close down Fury. If he tries that against Joshua he gets into a nuke war real soon.

Interesting that Showtime and HBO have worked it out. Other posters please take note when they bring this up as a huge obstacle.
I do like Hearn interviews - always entertaining, sincere and informative.

So this fight is hanging on the whims of the sanctioning bodies? Really??? The networks have agreed, and it's up to the sanctioning bodies? Seriously???

Hearn way of getting out of fight I've never heard of a current champ fighting and defending his belt with a vacant title on line but he did say ibo on board WBA won't be I suspect

It is a damn good fight just the way it is and gets Klitschko back with the IBF should he win. No other belt should be needed. This fight makes mega bucks just as it is and is guaranteed Sky high ppv money.

I just can't believe that this fight might be held up by a sanctioning body. Network issues, I could deal with (but not happily), but not a ****ing sanctioning body!
