Those are WBA rules, Jacobs and his team knew what the split would be in case of a purse bid. It was in their best interests to hammer out a deal, but they instead tried to have the WBA change their rules specially for him-- total fail. Now Jacobs has to accept whatever K2 offers, accept the purse bid as per the rules or vacate his title and reputation. All up to Jacobs now.

Pathetic. You're just scared he will lose. I never thought I'd see a boxing fan asking for fighters NOT to give the fans a great fight. You're no boxing fan at all.

By the way, Jacobs admitted he couldn't even sell out HALF his hometown venue fighting against Haymon's other best middleweight, BOTH in their home towns! GGG sold out MSG in a foreign country and his ratings also show he is AT LEAST four times more marketable than Danny Jacobs.

So, you know, you don't know ****. Jacobs is lucky to get 25% and if he doesn't take it, it just proves he's scared of GGG like all the rest.

Hopefully this gets done before purse bid. Not a fan of purse bids, too unpredictable and in cases like this usually lead to fights not happening. Loffler acknowledging Jacobs as the #2 MW is big tho. May signal his willingness to move close to that 60-40 mark.

I can understand Jacobs. If he gets KTFO by GGG, he has to get some good money. A T/KO loss would put his stocks down.
