Comments Thread For: Amir Khan No Longer Ranked By WBC, Loses Danny Garcia Shot?

Earlier today, the World Boxing Council released a list of fighters who failed to register for their Clean Boxing program. Fighters who railed to register for the program by the WBC's deadline were removed from the rankings or stripped of their world title. Registration was mandatory for every fighter ranked in the top 15 or holding a belt under the WBC.

Big miscalculation by Khan, but if he's taking all sorts of medication for the hand, kind of pointless to get tested out of competition.

Eh, I didn't need to see the rematch anyways. I'd rather see the rumored Garcia/Thurman fight. Let Khan fight Spence.

Was Khan really trying to get the rematch? It seems as though he chased Mayweather, Pacquiao, and finally Canelo for quite some time. During this time, he was ducking Brook. Whatever. He hasn't done anything to earn a shot... Can't stand that guy.

Khan is a second tier fighter who tries to pick and choose like an elite guy.

All the while, missing out on opportunities and making a fool of himself.

I think his relevance has peaked - it's all downhill from here.
