Comments Thread For: Mayweather: Many Legends Moved Up in Weight - Not Golovkin!

Oh I think golovkin is more than just a one trick pony but I have to agree with mayweather. I will always pick a great boxer vs a power puncher. Like I said I think golovkin is great but we still haven't seen him in a competitive fight where a guy clearly has an advantage over him in this certain phase. I think his skills will translate to be able to compete with the best boxers like a mayweather or ward but will he win? I don't think so!

Golovkin fought a 147 lber. at 160 lbs., but requested 164 lbs. for Ward.

Golovkin isn't a legendary fighter, though. Legendary can crusher without a doubt, but that's as far as I'll go. He Masquerades over a decrepit division, draining himself to take on smaller men....no different from your run of the mill grade school bully.

More brainless drivel from Floyd. Yes, a trainer throwing in the towel as his fighter is getting pummeled is definitely a "fix". It has nothing to do with.. oh I don't know, the fact that a fighter DIED in the ring last week?

Enjoy the retirement Floyd and shut the hell up.

At Least golovkin never took a year long "vacation with family" to duck the hottest fighter in the division.

Its Not GGG's fault canelo had a Middleweight title but didnt want to defend it at middleweight lol

Who is saying GGG is a legend? All he is the top middleweight, he is top 10 pound for pound. Hagler didnt move up in weight and is a legend.
